Hot almond oil may help strengthen your hair, as well as add moisture to your hair and scalp. This treatment is best for dry or damaged hair that doesn’t tend to get greasy too quickly.

After washing your hair, place 6 tablespoons of almond oil in a small heatproof bowl. Place the bowl in a pan with about an inch of hot water in the bottom. Using this Bain Marie method will make sure the oil heats evenly. Heat the oil for two minutes and then test the temperature on the back of your wrist. When it's comfortably warm, it's ready.

Apply the oil to your hair and scalp before combing through. Cover with a towel or shower cap and leave on for 20 minutes. Rinse off and shampoo your hair as normal.
